Thanks to an audiobook, I officially met my reading goal of 24 books. But I usually don't count audiobooks, plus this year's list has several short/children's books... not really impressive, though my page count is higher than last year. I'll try to do better in 2012! I was supposed to finish up the A-Z Author Challenge this year, and definitely could have at the rate I was going, but I got stuck right in the middle of X. Just... ugh. I was proud of the fact that last year's movie count was quite a bit lower than the year before, but this year's count is 17 less than last year's. When you consider how many really awful movies I make myself watch, knowing full well that they're going to be awful from the start, less is always better ( Read more... )

This was the year that I started the A-Z Author Challenge, knowing I wouldn't be able to pull it off in one year but trying all the same. I made it up to Q - which is pretty good for my usual reading habits - and will be continuing through the challenge this year, picking up at R once I read Watchmen.

I'm actually kind of proud of myself that my movie count for this year is only 182. That is 58 less movies than last year. And though I still watched a ton of utter crap, I did really good this year about talking myself out of watching something just because it was listed as 'Last Chance' OnDemand.
